When it comes to doing the important work of breaking down barriers, empowering others and inspiring the next generation, it is universal for me.
Burnout is not fun. I’ve been there. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that as Black women, we’re taught to take care of and be everything to everyone but ourselves. We must be intentional about tending to ourselves and ruthless about protecting our peace. We need to elevate our sacred space—our Higher Ground
